I feel sick, not just from reading how this monster perpetuated his evil upon a child who had been bounced around in foster homes all of his life, but also from the subsequent ignoring of and attempts to cover up this most disgusting crime. There could be, and in all probability, are many, many more child victims.
Why would the Delaware Attorney General's Office conduct themselves in such an unjust manner?
This story was attempting to see the light of day at the same time the Dr. Bradley (Pediatrician Pedophile) case was reaching its peak. Politically, this would have proven not only embarrassing, but disastrous for the Delaware power elite. This Judge (former Legal Counsel for Governor) was allowed to molest little boys for over 30 years, with the latest alleged incident being as late as 2008.
I am not at liberty to go into detail regarding the specificity of the action germinating under the surface, but am hopeful that, in the next few days, official steps will betaken to bring this Black Robed Monster, and those within the corrupt system of Delaware, to justice and accountability. It is our goal also for any other child victims to come forward as well.
As I did in a previous blog, I included this one and only bit of media coverage of the Judges admission of molesting an 11 year old boy. There was otherwise a media blackout.
WILMINGTON -- Standing in front of the building where William C. Bradley Jr. had been a judge until last week, attorneys Thursday handed out a one-page, two-sentence statement from the former jurist admitting he molested an 11-year-old boy more than 30 years ago.
The statement signed by Bradley and handed out on the steps of the New Castle Courthouse on Thursday reads: "On or about the evening of Dec. 28, 1975 and Dec. 29, 1975, while present in my home located in Townsend, Delaware, I molested Gregory Kelly, then age 11, through inappropriate sexual contact. I deeply regret any harm I have caused to Gregory Kelly and his family."
For Gregory Kelly, now 44, it was the vindication he has been seeking for decades.
More than 20 years ago he told his family about the incident and about 12 years ago unsuccessfully tried to get the Delaware Attorney General's Office to investigate, he said.
Then in April 2009, Kelly filed his civil lawsuit through the Delaware Child Victims Act on his own after several Delaware attorneys declined to take up the suit against a sitting judge.
"This case should serve as a model of courage and persistence for all victims of crime, especially sex crimes," said Brian D. Kent, a Philadelphia attorney who agreed to represent Kelly in federal court after the suit was filed. "He was determined to seek justice for the heinous actions perpetrated against him as a young boy. And he has been successful."
Judith Miller, the Delaware coordinator for the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, called Thursday's news a "tremendous victory."
"Greg never gave up despite all kinds of obstacles," she said. "I just applaud Greg's determination and his courage."
Both he and his Attorney were threatened by the "Justice" establishment of Delaware.
To my Delaware Friends - this Admitted Pedophile Judge of 30years was allowed to retire with your very generous tax payer money. He received no criminal investigation, charge, nor any treatment. whatsoever The AG simply paid off the one (sole) civil lawsuit and snuffed out the voices of any other victims of this monster they enabled.
